Bree & Hunter Santa Lucia Preserve

We both practice our own form of spirituality, so everything from the naturally beautiful location to the design of the wedding ritual itself was hand-selected as an expression of our shared philosophy about love. We wrote our vows ourselves and at no point did we stick to tradition unless it served to express our way of seeing life and marriage. It was beautiful and very rewarding to see all of our friends and family recognizing our eclectic approach to spirituality which integrates bits and pieces of all kinds of traditions. We deliberately wrote our vows to express that we are both here to help the other achieve the realization of their highest self. I think that notion is what was at the heart of our relationship and all of our choices, and I think it really came across for our friends and family. By the end of the vows, everyone was in tears!
